Antikeri

Antikeri (or the Antikeria islets) refers to two small, adjacent Greek islands—Ano Antikeri and Kato Antikeri—located in the Lesser Cyclades complex of the Aegean Sea. Positioned just southeast of Naxos and roughly 16 kilometers east of Amorgos, they fall under the administrative jurisdiction of the Amorgos municipality.

Key Details & Geography

The Islets: The complex consists of Ano Antikeri (Upper) and Kato Antikeri (Lower).

Kato Antikeri: This islet spans roughly 272 acres. It is largely unpopulated and has frequently been listed on real estate markets as a private island for sale. It retains traces of agricultural history, including old huts and wells.

Ano Antikeri: A rocky, largely deserted islet that sits just east of Kato Antikeri.

Activities: Visitors typically anchor off the coast of Antikeri to swim, dive directly off boats, or visit the small, isolated beaches. The surrounding waters are highly regarded for their clarity and privacy
