Koufonisia

Koufonisia is a stunning complex of two small islands, Ano Koufonisi and Kato Koufonisi, located in the Small Cyclades group southeast of Naxos. Renowned for its exotic, crystal-clear turquoise waters, golden sand beaches, and ultimate tranquility, it is one of Greece's most idyllic island escapes. At just 3.5 square kilometers, Ano Koufonisi is the smallest inhabited island in the Cyclades, allowing visitors to walk everywhere completely on foot.
The Two Islands
Ano Koufonisi: The main, lively island where the ferry port, Cycladic hotels, tavernas, and bars are located. It has a tiny permanent population of around 400 people.
Kato Koufonisi: A nearly uninhabited, untouched paradise located just 200 meters across a narrow channel. It features wild, unorganized beaches and is highly popular for free camping and day trips via water taxi.
Top Things to Do
